30 Hour Famine

The teens are doing the 30 hour famine. They have already gone door to door asking for donations. They will be going around town collecting food for the food pantry. They will spend two hours in the center of town collecting money for the famine. They are turning this into a local and global missions project. The teens take up an offering each year to collect money to send.

Just Water

We have joined the Just Water Movement at church. We are going to do several fund raisers to try to raise $200.00 for this ministry. We are going to involve everyone in the church with some different projects and activities. The first fundraiser that we are going to do involves colors of clothes. We are going to choose a day and have everyone in the congregation wear as much blue as possible. Then we are going to ask everyone wearing blue to donate at least $.25 and collect it in water bottles. This will remind them that they are fortunate to have clean water whenever they want it,

We are also going to ask people to give up one pop, tea, coffee, or other drink and donate that money to our Just Water fund. We are also going to collect that money in water bottles. We are going to have a water bottle thermometer and color in the amount of money that we have collected in blue to represent the water. When the water bottle is full we will have reached our goal and be ready to set a new one.
